designer's statement
Leanne Guaneri is a senior at MICA majoring in fiber with an art history minor and experimental fashion concentration. Originally from Merrick, NY, she loves to travel, read, run, sing, sew, and eat. Her obsessions run the gamut but are primarily focused on food. She also indulges in bad pop music and eBay. After graduating, she hopes to return to New York, pursue a career related to sustainable fashion and eventually run her own business.
