When I was diagnosed in 2003, I was treated at the GBMC Breast Clinic. I am enormously grateful for the fantastic care I received there from Dr. Lauren Schnaper and the team of nurses including Barbara Raksin. Not only was the medical care extraordinary, but the sensitivity and insight demonstrated by all the staff made the experience much more bearable.
In a touch of irony, I have recently become Chair of the Board of the Baltimore School for the Arts, from which Christian Siriano, tonight’s super star designer, graduated!
