Pat Orsino
I was originally diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in July 2008. I had surgery in December 2008, after the tumor shrank, and followed up with radiation last spring. This past month, I was diagnosed with metastases to the bone in the sacral area. I am currently having radiation and will soon receive physical therapy.
I have been married to my husband, Orlando, for 43 years, and we have two sons. Lando is now 40, and he has given us two of our grandbabies- Luca, who is two years old, and his little sister, Gianna Isabella, who will turn one in December. Our second son is 36 and has one child, Emma, who turned three in May. We have been blessed to be able to stay with them while I continue my cancer treatments. My mother, Ruth, is 83 and lives in Western Maryland.
Orlando and I reside in Ocean City, Maryland, for the summer months, and we live in The Villages, Florida, in the winter. We love to golf and enjoy the sunshine. Before I retired, I was an assistant in our business, which involved ambulances. Before that, I was a mortgage banker.
