I am a 53 yr. old wife and mother of two, a 24 yr. old son and a 21 yr. old daughter. I work part time for a flower business, Upsy Daisy and I also volunteer in the community.
I was diagnoised last May with breast cancer and am nearing the end of my treatments. At first I was frightened about what cancer would mean to me and my family and about the treatments but I am extremely fortunate that all the care and advice from my doctors was acurate and my prognosis going forward is good. I feel that the quality of care is so high that I can come out at the other end of this journey a healthy person.
I am also grateful to our family and friends as their love and support have been a huge comfort to us.
