Michele German
My name is Michele German. I am a proud 42 year old mother of three beautiful and inspiring children. Eleven years ago I was diagnosed with invasive Stage I breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. I credit my ten year cancer-free survivorship to my wonderful medical group at GBMC, Frank Rotolo, Marshall Levine, Ginny Merryman and Barb Raksin.
My journey the past eleven years has been filled with endless fear, sadness, many tears, but also great joy in meeting strong and empowering woman.
I thoroughly now live to watch my children grow, challenge me in their teenage years, watch them play sports and relish the good times with my husband and great, loyal friends. I hope and pray that by the time my eleven year old daughter grows into the fine woman she is becoming, that we will finally see an end to this madness called breast cancer and there will be a cure!
