Rosemary Bongiorno

Hello, my name is Rosemary Bongiorno. I am a 54 year old mother of 3 sons, and a wife of 27 years. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 49. I will celebrate my fifth year of being cancer free this month, so what a wonderful event to be involved in on October 10th. Being diagnosed with cancer gives you a undescribable feeling of fear and emptyness. I believe just leaving the Doctor’s office after your diagnosis makes you a survivor. God gave me peace and spiritual guidance during this time and still does. I want to thank my husband “Victor”, my surgeon, and my oncologist. May God bless all my sisters that have gone through and are presently going through cancer.
