Susan Magsamen

I write books and create programs for families and children on new ways to  learn, grow and connect within our families, schools, communities and the world.  My work brings me together  with many wonderful people and organizations including local places like House of Ruth and Family Tree where  we conduct workshops for families to  The Johns Hopkins School of Education and  the  National Geographic Society where I am working on several educational publishing and event projects.

I am married to Rick Huganir, who is the love of my life. Combined we have four extraordinary children Nikki, Adam, Sam and Ben.  We also have two dogs (Jack and Stella) and a cat named Sophie. Together we enjoy travel, wine, music, readings, good conversations and great friends and family.
