Brunette, Bald & Blonde
Would categorize the three stages of my life so far. My family and oldest friends still think of me as a brunette. My husband can still lose me in a crowd because he is scanning the brunettes. Four months after my 50th birthday, I was personally introduced to an old but unwelcome family member named Cancer. I knew we would battle it out, hair and all. This would be the bald stage. Never again would I proclaim a bad hair day! It was an honor to befriend women of great faith, humor, and strength as we hoped to be the last generation of women to battle Breast Cancer. The other side of Cancer is like a rebirth but retaining your wisdom and experience. You are inspired to try new challenges. For 8 years now I have been researching the age old question “Do Blondes really have more fun?”
